We’re beyond thrilled to announce that The Bracken Ridge Tavern is undergoing an incredible renovation! In our 50th year, we’re undertaking a fresh, modern facelift that will breathe a whole new life into your favourite pub on the Northside. Think of it as a respectful nod to our past, with a big leap into the future for our amazing community!

You asked, we listened – there will be indoor and outdoor kids spaces in stage 1… and maybe a nod to our favourite local publican “The Captain” in stage 2.
But there is so much more to come! This page (and our socials) will be updated as changes happen and details are released.
We know, for many of you, this is a home away from home – and we want you to join us on this entire journey!
MOST IMPORTANTLY, OUR DOORS ARE STAYING OPEN!
We’re staying open throughout the entire renovation. Our gaming, sports bar, and current restaurant experiences will continue without a hitch. And don’t worry, our bottle shop is still trading as normal too.
So far, there are only two minor changes to our daily trade – check them out below:
NEW FRONT ENTRANCE
Whilst our old restaurant location is a bit of a construction site, we have moved our main entrance to The Phoenix Bar.
This entrance is just a few steps down to your right when facing the venue.
Our friendly staff will be waiting there with a menu and a smile!
NEW RESTAURANT LOCATION
Panama Jacks & White Coffee Co. have moved to their temporary location in our former Phoenix Bar & Functions Room.
Panama Jacks is trading as usual, with plenty of space for all our patrons!
White Coffee Co. is trading it’s usual hours, with a slightly reduced menu.
GET READY FOR OUR BRAND NEW ITALIAN EATERY!
We’re stoked to be launching a brand-new Italian restaurant concept right here at The BRT. Get ready for some delicious new flavours to add to our already awesome lineup. More details will be coming soon – keep your eyes peeled!
And for all you steak lovers, there’s no need to worry. Panama Jacks isn’t going anywhere – it’s still the steakhouse you know and love, but it’s getting a serious glow up & a new Italian neighbour!
